Downloading streams first?
Hey all -- is there a way to download the video stream so that I don't have to buffer? I'm on a sub 1MPS connection and I would like to leave the game downloading overnight so that I can watch without constant buffering interruptions that render the game unwatchable.

Try downloading Replay Media Catcher. I downloaded a game using it a few months ago, and it worked like a charm. You'll want to find a full version though, since the trial won't allow you to download the entire game. I'd post a link, but I don't know what the rule is with posting links to downloads.

It doesn't save a file but if you open the stream direct in quicktime you can pause and let it load til the cows come home and play it from the start fully loaded. Been doing this on archives since last year.
Doesn't work on live streams - it fills up the buffer but messes up with artefacting skipping and sound issues if you let it buffer too much.
